3. Worth the wait
Wednesday’s match was rescheduled from April 25 due to Montreal’s CCL schedule. Since spring, both teams have bolstered their rosters with San Jose signing Quincy Amarikwa, Anibal Godoy and Marc Pelosi, and Montreal adding Didier Drogba, Johan Venegas from Alajuelenese, and Kyle Bekker.

The Earthquakes hold a strong average of 0.7 conceded goals per game at Avaya Stadium, and with the team’s last three goals coming from three different players, there are plenty of scoring options heading into Wednesday’s clash, not to mention the squad is undefeated with Anibal Godoy in the starting lineup (4-0-1).
