The U-12, U-13 and U-14 Boys’ Academy teams are currently competing in the Nexen Manchester City Cup in San Diego, Calif. The U-12s were undefeated in group play but fell to Club Tijuana in the semifinals. The U-12s will take on Total Futbol Academy in the third place match on Monday, May 28. The U-13s defeated rivals LA Galaxy 2-1, ending in third place in their group. The U-14s finished fourth in their bracket, behind Seattle Sounders FC, Manchester City and Strikers Irvine FC.
The Boys’ Academy teams will take on De Anza Force this Saturday, June 2. Times and locations for the matches can be found here.
The Quakes Girls’ Academy season has ended, but the U-15s and U-17s have qualified for the national playoff in June.
