The San Jose Earthquakes Boys’ Academy went unbeaten in their weekend fixtures.
The Boys faced Mustang SC and the LA Galaxy on Saturday. The U-13s (8-1) and the U-14s (3-0) both earned victories over Mustang SC, while the U-15s picked up a 4-1 victory over the LA Galaxy, and the U-17s and U-19s each tied their rivals 1-1 and 2-2, respectively.
On Sunday, the U-15s (4-0) and the U-17s (5-1) each earned wins over Pateadores, and the U-19s tied 2-2.
The Boys will face San Joaquin Valley Soccer Academy on Saturday, Sept. 21. Details on the Boys’ Academy full season schedule can be accessed here.
The Girls’ Academy hosted La Roca FC and Portland Timbers FC over the weekend.
On Saturday, the U-14s (3-0), the U-15s (4-1) and the U-16s (5-0) each earned victories over their respective La Roca FC opponents, but the U-17s (2-1) and the U-19s (1-0) were both defeated.
The Girls faced Portland Thorns FC on Sunday and collectively outscored the Oregon side 18-4. The U-14s and the U-17s each earned 2-0 shutout wins, the U-15s picked up a 4-1 victory, and the U-16s and the U-19s won 7-1 and 3-2, respectively.
