SAN JOSE, Calif. – San Jose Earthquakes goalkeeper JT Marcinkowski successfully underwent multi-ligament repair/reconstruction surgery on his right knee on Tuesday afternoon. Marcinkowski sustained his injury in an international friendly against C.D. Olimpia on Oct. 14.
Marcinkowski, 26, played in 13 games in the 2023 MLS season, starting 12 matches and earning four clean sheets as San Jose went 5-4-3 in that span. Since signing with the club as a Homegrown Player in 2017, the native of Alamo, California, has made 95 MLS appearances (94 starts) and earned 18 shutouts for the Earthquakes.
