The San Jose Earthquakes is a professional soccer club with an Academy that plays in Major League Soccer. Our academy has ages that compete at the U14, U15, U16 and U18 age groups without the pay-to-play system.

San Jose Earthquakes are committed to the development of homegrown players. The Quakes run a Regional Development School (RDS) with the aim of identifying the best prospects for its academy as we approach the entry academy age group at U14. Players are scouted and identified through our staff and partnerships to be invited to RDS training as we build a group of players that will hopefully become our U14 academy in the following summer. Players come from all of Northern California, will attend two trainings with our academy staff per month year-round, events at our stadium and with our first team and 2nd team along with special events and an Earthquakes training uniform.
