RENO 1868 FC UPDATE

The Quakes’ USL affiliate Reno 1868 FC’s inaugural season ended Saturday in the USL’s Western Conference quarterfinals. Reno fell to OKC Energy FC 1-0 and finished their season 17-7-8 placing them third in the Western Conference. Reno set a USL record for most goals in a single regular season at 75 and forward Dane Kelly was awarded the USL Golden Boot (18 goals). Reno midfielder Chris Wehan also finished the season with the most assists in the league (12).


QUAKES ACADEMY UPDATE

The Quakes Boys’ Academy faced Sacramento Republic FC at the U-12, U-13 and U-14 levels. Both U-12 squads and the U-13s tied with 1-1 results and U-14s won 3-0 this past weekend. This U-15s competed in the CCSL Fall District II Cup and took home the first place trophy, defeating Alpine Strikers FC 1-0 in the final. On Saturday, Oct. 28, the U-13s and U-14s will face San Juan SC. The U-15s, U-17s and U-19s will face Crossfire Premier. On Sunday, Oct. 29, the U-15s, U-17s and U-19s will face Vancouver Whitecaps FC.


The Quakes Girls’ Academy will face California Thorns FC on Sunday, Nov. 5.
